high altitudes
contemplating at high altitudes, circulating blood cells crash in a beautiful collision multiplying by the thousands into their millions while occupying still air, gravity concedes defeat puncturing the shell, vast needles intertwine themselves on blistering skin, bubbles pop escalating frozen fears, fragmented crippled dwarfs protruded forming fluorescent masks reflecting subtle turquoise tones, almost aqua, reminiscent of folding gamblers retrieving menthol, swallowing every conceited thought scratching my throat like fingernails on a blackboard, a fragile alliance was formulating molten lava slipped though my fingers calculated philosophical theories undecided decadent difficulties thawed hopeless confidence a murmuring basket case evolved.

a littered canvas of angular terra cotta caves absent, vacant and derelict, golden hearts bronzing wrinkled skin aged like a good wine, constant chatter from the ocean ever arguing its guard. Ever observant are the human in constant watch, no comedy, loneliness blankets the cove torn only by a foreign accent, god calls on the hour, every hour rung by his servant. Plagued are empty minds blistering headaches and forgotten glory is squeezed from its soul, lethargic is the end, galavanting are the pompous, generations agree on generated certainties, ambitious jellyfish lurk beneath, their laughter heard in vibrations, watched only by the wary.

one of a thousand volcanoes erupted, islands wore naked tans and suburbia basked in Solaris while organised eclipses tickled the palette. a request was made by the passing clouds, who now travelled in herds, so whispering they echoed “I saw it with my own eyes unparalleled beauty in the form of a goodbye”. immense insignificance wrapped around them with the arms of an octopus, the suckers blew kisses and considered to wave but thought twice
